Christmas Eve is a time of warmth, togetherness and joy. This year, we had the pleasure of organizing art – therapy masterclass for celebrating it with the children of Sakhnovshchyna community, filling the air with the sweet scents of holiday treats and the spirit of creativity.

As part of the “Healing together with Art” project, this master-class was organized jointly by volunteers from Ukraine and Japan Aitsugi Charity Project under the leadership of Ms. Anna Inoue from Japan and Ukrainian co-organizer Marina Antonyuk  with a great help of by Ruslana Korinna, head of the Charitable Foundation “Hearts of the Unbreakable”, highly -dedicated volunteer from Sakhnovshchyna community.

During this art-therapy session children engaged in a special gingerbread painting master-class. Young participants discovered the magic of holidays by creating fragrant Christmas gingerbread cookies.  With the expert guidance of pastry chef Oksana Huz, the children decorated their handmade treats with colorful icing. Each cookie a reflection of their imagination and festive spirit.

The room was filled with the delightful aroma of gingerbread, the sounds of holiday music, and the warmth of a close-knit gathering, all of which contributed to emotional healing and joyful memories.

A heartfelt thank you to volunteers on spot: Ruslana Korinna, head of the Charitable Foundation “Hearts of the Unbreakable” and Vitaliya Dudka, Oleg Yarynich, Alina Huz for their flawless preparation, professionalism, and sincere care for the children.

As our young participants take home their sweet masterpieces to share with their families on Christmas Eve, they carry with them the most precious gifts—love, warmth, and time spent together.

Wishing peace and harmony to every family this Christmas Eve! 💙🎄💛
