This year, with joint efforts of volunteers from Japan and Ukraine, we did everything possible to make Christmas truly special for every child and family in YOU TOO centers (сюди на їх назву додати лінк https://www.facebook.com/youtoocenter) in Kharkiv (Saltivka) and Kharkiv region (Vysokyi)
At YOU TOO hubs in Saltivka and Vysoke, we helped to organize a series of festive events, Art-therapy master-classes throughout December, ensuring that everyone could feel the warmth and magic of the season.
✨ Who were these events for?
- Families of fallen soldiers
- Internally displaced families
- YOU TOO regular young visitors, including preschoolers, affected by the war
- Children living far from the center, who cannot visit such center and enjoy creative classes
- Totally for more than 300 children for EACH activity in 2 YOU TOO centers in Saltivka (Kharkiv) and Vysokyi (Kharkiv region).
🎁 What did they do?
- Creative workshops including
- Decorated gingerbread cookies and enjoyed hot cocoa
- Polymer clay cup-making, where every child crafted their own unique piece
- Watched Christmas performances, participated in fun competitions, and received holiday gifts

These gatherings were not just celebrations—they became moments of true connection, bringing a sense of unity and joy to hundreds of families.

Master-classes arranged within charity initiative “Healing together through Art” by Anna Inoue, leader of Aitsugi Charity Project and Ukrainian co-organizer Marina Antonyuk. We highly appreciate all Japanese people, who donated for these art-therapy activities during charity exhibitions “100 Motanka dolls for Peace” in Japan.
We are already planning new events and can’t wait to create more magical experiences for you.
