105 people (70 children and 35 parents and supervisors) had an unforgettable journey to the dolphinarium in Kharkiv city in few small groups during last 2 weeks.
For many of these children, this was their first-ever excursion—one filled with excitement, wonder and awe-inspiring experiences.
Among the young travelers were children affected by war and those without the means to explore the world beyond their daily lives. This special trip, organized as part of the “Art Heals” project, became an opportunity for them to experience a day of new impressions, joy and emotional connection.
Socialization plays a crucial role in the well-being of children, especially in challenging times. Moments like these offer them hope, support, and the chance to reclaim the happiness of childhood. Each smile, each expression of delight, and every new friendship formed during the trip contributes to their emotional healing, allowing them to momentarily escape their struggles and simply be kids—carefree, happy, and full of laughter.
This heartwarming excursion was made possible by the dedication of volunteers from Ukraine and Japan. The project is led by Japanese volunteer Ms. Anna Inoue, Aitsugi Charity Project, and co-organized in Ukraine by Marina Antonyuk from Ukrainian Incentives DMC for YOU TOO center in Kharkiv.
We are grateful to everyone who contributed to making this experience a reality and personally to Olena Bondar, head of YOU TOO family center in Vysokyi, Kharkiv region.
Together, we create moments that matter. Together, we are strong! 💙💛
